Cara Procek

Cara Procek joined Stevens Strategy in 2024 as a Senior Consultant, bringing over three decades of education leadership from K-12 to higher education. Her experience includes serving as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), where she led 130 full-time faculty across three colleges and oversaw programs for over 3,400 students. Cara led the assessment of learning experiences and student outcomes for campus-based programs and has been instrumental in shaping academic policies, ensuring equity, and driving innovation in curriculum. Before her tenure as Vice President, Cara served as Associate Professor, Department Chair, and President of the Faculty Senate at SNHU, where she developed education programs, mentored faculty, and led accreditation efforts. Cara also managed budgets and allocated resources to support academic programs, balancing current needs with long-term goals while leading and empowering teams to solve complex problems using an innovative, people-first approach. Before SNHU, she held pivotal roles in K-12 education, including Curriculum Director for the Bedford School District, where she implemented innovative instructional programs and led professional development initiatives. A classroom teacher by trade, Cara knows firsthand how to craft curriculums to meet the needs of teachers and their students. Cara’s scholarly contributions include editing the New Hampshire Journal of Education and chairing doctoral dissertation committees. Cara holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum Leadership from Northeastern University and advanced Executive Leadership and Performance Leadership certificates from Cornell University.
